Looking Forward to XSI 2027
We had a great time at XSI this past weekend! Thank you for attending and making it an incredible, lively, and exciting event! We had over 1,500 people in attendance for our plenary sessions, and around 750 people attended the breakout sessions. Thank you so much to the over 200 volunteers who make this event happen! Teachings will be available soon on the Dwell website and on YouTube.
Next year, we're moving to September! We hope this change alleviates some of the business of the summer months. Mark your calendars for September 24-25, 2027!

Volunteer for the Community Festival
The Dwell Community Festival returns on August 22, 2026! We expect 3000 people to be in attendance, and none of it happens without volunteers! We need about 300 to pull it off.
Some shifts happen earlier in the week to help with setup, and shifts on the day itself are 2–3 hours so you can serve without losing your whole day. Every volunteer gets a free drink ticket. Roles include:
- Festival Field (games, inflatables)
- Food & hospitality
- Kids activities (through 8 PM
- Setup (earlier in the week and before 4 PM) and teardown (after 9 PM)
You can filter for indoor roles when you sign up. We want everyone to be able to serve in a way that works for them, so if you have a specific need we should know about, just reach out, and we'll help find the right fit.
Bring your home church, friends, or family and serve together. Sign up to volunteer and pick a shift that works for you.

Does Parenting Need to be a Spiritual Pause?
Keira and Kalyssa join the podcast to talk honestly about what it's actually like to try to maintain a high commitment to God and Christian community while raising young kids — including the pressures, the lies that are easy to believe, and why "I only have 20% to give" might not be the obstacle it feels like.

A devotional from Ben Foust
Ben Foust wraps up the series in Philippians 4 with Paul's final instruction: discipline your focus. You can't turn off anxious thoughts, but you can displace them — and research backs up what Scripture has always said about how much our habits of thought actually shape our experience.
