What's New This Week at Dwell

Each year, hundreds of students are challenged to deepen their relationship with Christ at Epic–Dwell’s summer camp for high-schoolers. Over the years, a few hundred students have come to faith at Epic, and many more have made the decision to walk more closely and consistently with Christ.
One of the most important reasons for this incredible spiritual impact is prayer–asking God to work in the hearts of students to prepare them to receive God’s call to them. Join us in prayer for these students as they head out to camp on May 31st.
Pray for:
|
- For students to clearly understand and respond to God's call to them: for non-Christians to say yes to God's offer of forgiveness, and for Christians to commit their lives to God.
- For the Spirit to prepare the students' hearts for teachings and readings on heaven and the eternal perspective.
- For teachers to know what specific points to raise in their teachings.
- For leaders to know how to make the most of the week.
- For the transition to our new camp in Michigan to be smooth

After a childhood marked by violence, neglect, and foster care, Nate spent his early 20s wandering the streets of Columbus, consumed by depression — until he cried out to God and everything changed. In this testimony, Nate shares how the love of a church community, a simple prayer, and Psalm 40 pulled him out of the pit and set his feet on solid ground.

Uprooting Your Family for Christ
|
Abbey Merker interviews Katie and Kim, who left Columbus four and a half years ago to help plant a church in a new city. They share their decision-making process—navigating prayer, counsel, fears, and flip-flopping convictions—and discuss the surprising realities of homesickness, team dynamics, and ministry changes they didn't expect.

When Your Work Seems Like Nothing
|
A devotional from John Ross
|
John Ross concludes the series in Haggai 2, where God addresses Jews discouraged that their rebuilt temple looks inferior to Solomon's original. God promises future glory when the Messiah himself will visit, reminding them that his presence matters more than building materials.
