Women in Grief, a new Dwell ministry, is available now to women who may be walking through infertility or pregnancy loss. This ministry exists to build community and provide a safe, Scripture-centered space where women can openly share their stories, wrestle with difficult questions and emotions, and encourage one another to continue moving toward God and others in the midst of grief.
If you would like to learn more, help someone get connected, or are interested in helping serve with this ministry, you can reach out at womeningrief@dwellcc.org.

October Parenting Meeting
|
The next parenting meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 14th at 9:30 am in the Main Campus Cafe (1394 Community Park Dr.). Chris Risley will be teaching on "Raising Flexible, Resilient Kids". This monthly meeting offers teachings on practical parenting topics, from a biblical perspective. Guests are welcome, and there is limited childcare available.
Parents can check-in using this link, starting at 7:30am to know they have a spot in childcare before they leave the house. We are still in need of childcare volunteers. If interested in volunteering, email Messingerj@dwellcc.org.

This year during the holiday season, there are two ways you can spread holiday cheer by singing! First is the Abide Christmas Choir. This group will sing during the Christmas Eve program on December 24th, at both the 2 and 4 pm programs. Some Sunday afternoon rehearsals are required. If interested, fill out this form and the choir will be in touch.
The second option is to join the Community Carolers. Caroling groups of 6-12 will meet up and sing in our community and neighborhoods. Community carolers will join in on the Christmas Eve singalong section as able. No rehearsals required. If interested, fill out this form and someone will be in touch.

Abbey Merker sits down with Marianna Havkin, who in 2022 lost her son Andrew in a car accident. Mariana talks honestly about grief, anger at God, and doubt — but also about the community, the Word, and the hope of eternity that carried her through. It's a heavy conversation, but ultimately a story of real faith holding up under real loss.

A devotional from John Ross
|
John Ross opens a series in the Psalms with Psalm 49 and its central riddle — that wealth looks like winning from the horizontal view, but from God's perspective, the rich are often the most deceived of all. A straightforward look at where materialism gets us and what actually constitutes real riches.
