VBS & TNT Camp a Success!
|
|
|
|
The 2026 VBS & TNT camps were a huge success! At the Pirates of Bland Pants-themed VBS, 372 students enjoyed the music, skits, games, and crafts that taught them about the love of Jesus. Many of these students took time to memorize Ephesians 2:8-9. The TNT camp for 4th and 5th graders averaged 90 students per day.
Many students from both camps expressed understanding of God's love and forgiveness. Join us in praying for guests who came to both camps and that students who expressed wanting to know God or follow him to do so.
A huge thank you to the over 200 volunteers who helped run these camps! We could not have done it without you.

Geronimo is a summer camp that students in our High School ministry put on to serve kids in the neighborhoods around main campus, and to connect families with our Renegade ministry. This year they expect to see 150-200 students. Join us in praying for this camp! Pray for:
|
- Plenty of opportunities to serve families in need in our city
- Families to attend parent night on Thursday and for interest in checking out fellowship after camp
- Many students to become regular Renegade attendees after camp
- Middle school students to be interested in visiting a group
- Energy for our High School students volunteering all week

XSI Begins Next Friday, July 10th!
If you haven't registered yet, there's still time! Conference registration and breakout session sign-ups close Wednesday, July 8 at noon. With 12 breakout sessions to choose from, signing up in advance helps us prepare enough space for everyone.
And don't rush home after James Rochford's Saturday Evening Plenary Session. We'll keep the fun going at Main Campus with free beer and seltzers for guests 21+, nonalcoholic seltzers for everyone, the 9:00 p.m. World Cup match playing in the Main Auditorium (recorded so you won't miss the teaching), and volleyball outside. Bring a snack, stick around, and enjoy time together!

Pat Reeder talks with Steve Bauer and Mike Sullivan, both of whom lost their wives years apart, about what actually helped and didn't help in the aftermath — from the role of community to the spiritual hazards of isolation and identity. It's a candid look at grief that doesn't rush toward easy answers.

A devotional from Ben Foust
|
Ben Foust continues in Philippians 4, making the case that most of our go-to strategies for managing anxiety backfire because they're all attempts to do the job of a sovereign God. Accepting our own limitations — and the reality that God is both in control and personally invested — is what actually begins to loosen anxiety's grip.
