The author of Hebrews continues sharing about Moses' faith from Exodus. One last plague causes Pharoah to send the Israelites out of Egypt, the plague of the first born. This inevitably becomes a foreshadowing of what God would do, sending his only son as a sacrificial lamb. He understands the sorrow of losing a child and desires to be close to us, which is why he chose to send Jesus.
